One of the best hotel accommodation options in Victoria West. Best lamb shank meals, and the service, especially from Gerda and Lee, was simply top class. Well worth a visit!

Merino Junction is a classic Karoo hotel on Church Street in Victoria West, with long balconies and broekie lace along the front.
Families travelling home from the Cape stop over here year after year. The en-suite bedrooms have been refurbished, the staircase and hallways still carry the character of the old building.
Dinner in the restaurant is a highlight, with the lamb shank a firm favourite, and the old bar is the place for a drink and a story before bed.
